I’d like to talk to you about AI today in conjunction with HR. AI is here to stay.
It’s a wonderful tool. It saves you a lot of time. But there are things you have to be aware of. Firstly, AI only turns out what people have put in. So, there is the chance of a bias. Also, it may not fall under the jurisdiction of your particular country. And that’s something to be really aware of. I’m not sure if you know this, but AI can hallucinate. Yeah, you heard me right. Hallucinate. Because it can give you something that says is factual and there’s absolutely no truth to it whatsoever.
And remember, if you ever end up in tribunal, you have to prepare your case based on the evidence you’ve used. And it’s not enough to say that AI gave it to you when you can’t back up the source. Just remember, AI is a tool. HR is your safeguard.
