AI and Human Resources Part 2

Now, I’m continuing my AI series in relation to HR. 

I can fully understand small businesses thinking they don’t need to spend money on HR when they’ve got AI because they just put in what they want an answer to and out it comes. But remember, I said you have to be very aware that AI can be biased because it’s only as good as what goes into it. And while it gives you an answer, there is no human element there. 

So, it’s not considering any extraneous factors. may be a commercial element you want to consider. AI doesn’t take that into account because it doesn’t think it’s spouting facts. That is why while you can use AI, you always have to run it past an HR consultant if that’s what you’re looking to use it for to make sure that it’s covering your actual business needs and is tailored to your business and not to what comes out of the ether. 

Just remember, AI is a tool. HR is your safeguard.
